MISSION STATEMENT
- To ensure the welfare of the Carlsbad City Employees Association (CCEA) by being active in the local political arena.
OBJECTIVES
- To support candidates for Mayor or City Council who are supportive of the Carlsbad City Employees (CCEA).
- To oppose candidates for Mayor or City Council who want to reduce benefits of City Employees (including wages, health care, retirement, etc.) or reduce the number of positions through layoffs.
- To support or oppose ballot measures regarding issues which directly affect CCEA, such as pension reform.
ORGANIZATION
- The PAC will be led by a President and Treasurer. Those positions will be appointed by the CCEA President and ratified by the CCEA Board of Directors. The PAC leadership will be given direction by the CCEA Board of Directors as to what candidates and issues warrant expenditures and effort by the PAC.
